Hand-Cut Fringe
While definitely not the quickest way to add fringe to a purse, the look of hand-cut fringe is so phenomenal, we wouldn't do it any other way. By hand-cutting the fringe, you can be sure to get a handbag with truly MATCHING fringe and at the width and length that looks best with your purse design. We also cut our fringe at an angle so it lays perfectly down the sides of your handbag. To match the raw edge of our purse flaps, we'll often give the fringe a raw edge too. Not something you'll find anywhere else!

HAND SEWN
Hand-sewing each of our handbags allows us to celebrate a craft that has been passed down through generations. Hand sewing ultimately results in a stronger and more durable product. I personally like doing it as it further adds to the uniqueness of each creation, making it a true collector's item.

The Finish Work
So what do I mean by "Finish Work"? These are the things you'll notice when you see your purse up close. All leather edges are hand-burnished so you'll never feel a rough edge. Whenever a seam or leather fold may produce too thick of an edge, we skive (thin) the leather by hand so seams and folds transition in a smooth, visually appealing way.

One-At-A-Time & ONE-of-A-Kind
We don't mass produce our handbags or create multiple copies of the same handbag. This would have about as much appeal as painting the same oil painting over and over again. We certainly have some tried and true techniques and sizes, but we enjoy the creative process more than anything. Every leather hide is hand chosen by yours truly. We work with a metal smith that designs each concho or decorative element specifically for the purse it's going on. Getting to design a purse from a blank slate each time is why we enjoy what we do so much.
